Privacy Policy

The short version. We record your voice only when you press record. We score it, store it for 30 days so you can compare to a re-audit, then delete it. We never use your voice to train models. We never sell or share your audio. You can delete everything in one click at any time.

1. Who we are

VocalRep.ai (the “Service”) is operated by Influence Academy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the voice audit, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted.

2. What we collect

Voice recordings. A short audio clip (up to 75 seconds) recorded in your browser when you take the Articulation Audit.
Derived analysis. Numerical scores (articulation, pace, prosody, filler words, resonance, confidence), a recognized text transcript, and metadata (duration, timestamp).
Email address and name (only if you choose to receive your improvement plan).
Standard request data. IP address, user agent, and basic logs that any web service receives. We retain these for 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use it

To score your voice and generate your personalized improvement plan.
To let you compare a re-audit to your original (the 30-day storage window).
To send your plan to your inbox if you opted in by submitting your email.
To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymous analytics (e.g., what percentage of users complete the audit). We never analyze individual users’ recordings to improve the product.

4. What we do not do

We do not use your voice samples to train any AI model — ours, or a third party’s.
We do not generate a biometric voice ID or voice fingerprint.
We do not clone your voice.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
We do not allow other users to access your audio or scores.

5. Where your data lives

Audio: stored encrypted at rest in Cloudflare R2 (United States). Audio objects are deleted automatically after 30 days. Access requires short-lived signed URLs that expire within 60 seconds.
Scores and metadata: stored in Cloudflare D1 (United States), our application database.
Speech analysis: performed by Microsoft Azure AI Speech (United States). Microsoft processes the audio to return phoneme-level scores and does not retain it for training under the standard Cognitive Services terms.
Coaching plan generation: performed by Anthropic Claude. Only your numerical scores and a brief transcript excerpt are sent — never raw audio. Anthropic does not train its models on inputs sent through the API.
Email delivery: handled by Resend, which receives only your email address and the plan content.

6. Deleting your data

You can delete everything we hold about you at any time. Email privacy@influenceacademy.net from the address you used. We will purge your audit results, audio recordings, and account record within 24 hours and confirm by reply.

Audio that has reached its 30-day TTL is deleted automatically without action from you.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies and analytics

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We use first-party storage only to keep you signed in (when accounts launch) and to remember basic preferences. We may use privacy-friendly product analytics (e.g., PostHog) to count things like “how many users completed an audit today” — these counts are aggregate, not tied to your audio.

9. International users

Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the US under this policy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page; the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
